- Thus says Jehovah: The heavens are my throne and the earth is my footstool. What house would you build me? What would serve me as a place of rest?
エホバはこのように言われる。「天はわたしの王座、地はわたしの足台である。あなたがたは、わたしにどのような家を建てようとするのか。どのような所が、わたしの休息の場となるのか。 - These are all things my hand has made, and thus all came into being, says Jehovah. And yet I have regard for those who are of a humble and contrite spirit and who are vigilant for my word.

見よ、エホバは火とともに来られる。その戦車は旋風のようだ。主は猛り狂う怒りをもって報復し、燃え盛る火をもって叱責するために来られる。 - For with fire and with his sword shall Jehovah execute judgment on all flesh, and those slain by Jehovah shall be many.
